Mulilo EventsNational artists

You bring the date. We take the night.

A national artist, or their management, comes to Mulilo Events when they want a concert that is already a no-brainer. You pick the name on the poster. You pick the date. We do the rest: the room, the bill, the city, the tickets, the crowd, and the last light out.

We do not chase you for the booking. You come to us. After that date is firm, you should not have to run the night.

How it works

Tell us the artist and the date. We look at the calendar first. If that week already has a heavy football night, a national holiday, or another big concert, we say so. Move it a week. Keep the fire.

Then we size the room from how many people that artist actually draws, not from how big the dream is. Lounge. Club. Theatre. Ground. Stadium. You choose. We hold the venue.

The money

Our work does not cost you a fee. You do not pay Mulilo Events to show up. You do a concert because you want to make money. We are the event house and the marketing house. Our job is to fill the room and to keep the costs of that room down, so more of the night stays with you.

We buy as a house. Security, ticketing, crew, and the other repeat lines are standing orders, not one-night panic buys, so the rate is a house rate. That saving sits on your night. We take a share of ticket sales. That is a share of the success, not an invoice in advance. Every number is open from the first hold to settlement.

The bill

The headliner is yours. The openers are ours to build, unless you already have friends you want on the night.

One, two, or three smaller names play before the main act. We keep a pool of artists, including people who already know each other, so the warm-up is a fit, not a random name. We lock the order, the set lengths, and the changeovers.

The rooms

  • Lounge.

Up to 100 people. A close room. One stage, a short set, and a night that still feels like a secret. Same spine: tickets, a door, and a clock.

  • Club.

A few hundred people. Tight production. One stage. A short changeover. A room that can actually hear.

  • Theatre.

A proper hall. Seated or standing. Full sound and light. Tickets. A real security and medical plan.

  • Ground.

A showground, stadium field, or open site. Outdoor power, fencing, toilets, crowd and traffic, and a weather plan. If it is grass, we protect the pitch.

  • Stadium.

A national night. Tens of thousands if the draw is there. City liaison, a larger hospitality build, and a clock that can hold the room.

  • Tour.

The same show through Lusaka, the Copperbelt, and Livingstone. One production language. Local crew in each city.

What we hold

After the date is picked, this is on us.

  • Paper and the city.

Venue contract. Council permit. Police. Fire. Public health if they inspect. National Arts Council promoter licence. ZAMCOPS, because the organiser pays the copyright, not the band. Liquor if the room is selling. Insurance.

  • The room.

Layout. Stage and roof. Power. Sound, lights, LED if the night needs a screen. Backline. Load-in and load-out. Dressing rooms. The artist gate. Toilets, fencing, and water when it is outdoors. Weather and curfew.

  • The show.

Run-of-show. Production manager and crew. Soundcheck. A clock the openers and the headliner both live on.

  • Artist care.

Rider. Catering. A room that is actually private. Ground transport. Security on the artist, not only on the door. Settlement after the last song.

  • Tickets.

On-sale plan. Price tiers. Door versus advance. Comps. Box office. Cash-up.

  • The crowd.

Stewards. Medical. An ambulance when the room is big enough to need one. Crowd flow. Traffic and drop-off. A plan for the last 500 people leaving at once.

  • Marketing.

Name, date, venue, art. Posters, radio, social, press, street if it helps. Content from the announce to the night. The city has to know the show exists and how to buy a ticket. If you want a sponsor on the night, we make space without eating the stage.

  • Strike.

The room back as we found it. Vendors paid. A short wrap: what sold, what slipped, what to do next time.

VIP and VVIP

You order the tier. We build it.

VIP

VIP is a better door, a better seat or platform, a host, and a guest list that actually works.

VVIP

VVIP is a closed room, a private bar or lounge, wristbands, and whatever else you specify: a meet-and-greet, a photograph, a closed tab.

They just need to tell us. They order. We deliver.

Extras

Merch. A filmed night or a livestream. An afterparty. A hotel block. A visiting feature. A second city if this is becoming a tour.

Say it. We add it.

The promise

Lounge or stadium, same fire. You come with a date. We check the week, we pick the room, we build the bill, and we run the night from the first poster to the last car out.
